Sport

We are driven by a love of sport, games and physical education in our schools because of what they can do for learning, physical and social development and for the enormous well-being of our students.

“When you lose, you get up, you make it better: you try again.”

Serena Williams
Wimbledon and mulit-Grand Slam Tennis Champion

Our schools offer a wide range of sports (both individual and team pursuits) within the school day and as part of our curricular, co-curricular and elective programme.  There is a full range of sport on offer and it is taught at both Key Stage 3 and 4 to all students in all schools.  In addition, across the Trust there is a very wide range of sport on offer at lunchtime and after school.

Our Electives provide the opportunity at Key Stage 3 for our students to learn about and become proficient in a sport that would not ordinarily be available to them in school.

“You are never playing an opponent.  You are playing yourself, your own highest standards and when you reach your limits, that is a real joy.”
